Well, after seeing my $26K hospital bill for a 3 day stay, no operation, just an xray and MRI, blood tests and some basic IVs, there is no wonder why costs are so expensive. My brother-in-law is paying 1/10 of the amounts for tests and treatment is a very hi-tech hospital in Bangkok. Probably why the Asian doctors don't want to go back to their countries.
