As Thom Hartman noted the other day, he and his wife watched 6 hours of CNN and MSNBC and not one issue of the day was discussed. Thom would be really shocked if he tried watching them for a week and would end up seeing no issues discussed.
There fore it is time for the US to reinstate their NO FIRST USE OF NUKES back into use. Some dit from the AF said the other day we never had such a use policy ,well I am here to call bullshit on that statement , because during my 7 patrol on a missile boat that was the policy.
WE NEED THIS NOW
In the past few weeks I have read at least 10 lets have a war articles by both sides of the aisle. They are not only gearing up to take on Russia they include China in their plans. Being a sub sailor I have great distrust for those who say yeah we can do that ,not taking into considering what we who would have to fight the war would give up.
A little reading will quickly inform you that Russia and China are not sitting on their hands waiting patiently for us to attack. I have been following the progress of both countries in beefing up their military and attempting to analyze our chances of defeating them. In Russia's case they view the missile attack to be their main concern and their response to that threat is to build weapons system to counter that threat. They have added new missile defense systems, updated aircraft , new subs , new combat ships and more. In China's case the view their main threat is from the sea, with their eye on the Straights of Formosa as the most likely for an attack they have built a large fleet of new , very quite subs. Our most likely plan for China would most likely be a Carrier based attack and long range bombers, both of which would have to defeat any new systems that come on line.
The scary part of all this is the bare fact that in times of economic strife (think the Great Depression) we resort to a war to stimulate the economy. Our back room boys are gearing up to take on Russia and China an impossible task if you consider that Russia and China would come to each others aide a defeat of them would require a miracle. Or perhaps as the back room folks are saying we can use battlefield nukes to even the odds.

Yep , I am beating war drums another yet again because as we are entertainer by the Trump Hillary sideshow war is being planned , equipment and troops are being put into place, just waiting for a chance to pull the trigger. Never mind that it would most likely be the end of mankind to start that war our brilliant military and planners believe they can pull it off.
Now I offer every war and confrontation we have been in since WW2 and had to walk away not the winners should be enough evidence that if we can't whip nations like Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya and others. The use of aerial devices to win wars has always been known to now be a way to win a war, sure you can destroy the country but unless you have troops on the ground you haven't won.
I will keep banging the war drums till the cause goes away or I end up walking toward the nuclear flash.

WAR OR WHAT?
Over the past couple of weeks I have been accumulating stories of war and threats of war coming from the US and their friends at NATO. I will include all those links at the base of this post. The purpose of this post is to warm you that a vote vote for Hillary puts us one step closer to war. With her it is not an unknown , there is a reason a lot of the old right wing neocons are flocking to her, they know that with her a war will be much easier to start. Which tells me (although I am not for Trump) that the neocons don't think they can move him to a war with Russia and or China or both, but they beleive along with me Hillary is champing at the bit for her own private war. I mean after all look what a war with Iraq did for W.

WHILE WE ARE ENGROSSED IN THE TRUMP HILLARY CIRCUS (THE REAL POWER TO BE ARE PREPARING FOR WAR WITH RUSSIA AND CHINA!
As we are being entertained by the Trump Hillary show the same ole bunch of Neocons are in the process of preparing for war. They started with the bullshit show they put on in the Ukraine and most of the US bought into to propaganda being served by the Obama administration. They were not even phased by some of the public able to see through the bullshit and found some very disturbing people were pushing their totally fake evidence as the real thing. Even today a lot still believe in the fantasy that Putin was behind this Ukraine mess. You bought into the propaganda and refuse to date your thinking into the real world and not to concentrate on the bullshit being put out by our government.
For a realistic look at what the results would be if we are dumb enough to attack

5. NATO buildup to counter a Russian escalation along it's borders to fend off an attack by NATO forces is a dangerous game being played by the US . It's a risky adventure that has a lot of folks saying "ARE YOU SHITTING ME" Along with this buildup the US is placing a missile defense system right on the Russian borders ( to of course counter missiles from Iran). Everyone knows this is total bullshit and some in NATO think it's insane.
6.HERE ARE SOME OF THE DISSENTING VOICES against this nonsense are:
1. Putin looses it wondering what he has to do to get people to wake up and sotp this nonsense.
2.ALEX JONES TRIES TO WARN HIS AUDIENCE that MSM and the administration has been lying their asses off in regards to Russian intentions.
3. US is trying to start WW3 and they plan to use a first strike nuke force to pull it off.
Many times over the last few weeks story after story appear damn near every day but the above should give a starting point to do your own investigation.
In the pursuit of this story I researched arms capability of both NATO and the US comparing them with Russian capabilities. It would appear that they are capable enough to successfully thwart our attempt to destroy them. The belief by our military leaders that we can pull off a first strike is based with them having their collective heads buried in the sand and I will just point out they have been wrong in every war since WW2. We got our asses kicked by Viet Nam, Iraq and Afghanistan. Why would we think they got this one right.
If the population of the US doesn't get their heads out of their asses this could very easy be the end of life on earth. The first nuke that explodes will trigger a total release of all nukes and bring about the end for all of us.
We are lied to about wars and the need of wars. We sit here and watch an election being stolen by both side although the democrats were more blatant in the crooked stuff they pulled. It's over for those of us backing Bernie giving us a Hillary and a Trump. While Trumps take on all this is all over the board and we do not really know how he would deter this crazy operation. While their is little doubt where Hillary stands.
The sad part of all this is that Bernie gathered a bunch of supporters who now are being asked to vote for Hillary. I know they feel betrayed and I admit to that feeling myself. The question is what will his supporters do now. A huge percentage says they will vote for her and if they do I would suggest you start digging your bomb shelter now, or of course you could just sit on your hands and wait for the flash.

IDIOT SAVANTS CHOOSE THE WORST POSSIBLE CHOICES AS CANDIDATES FOR PRESISENT!
Well the primaries are done and the electorate has outdone their selves in stupidity by choosing the worst of the 20 folks vying for the jobs. It's almost impossible to figure what they thought they were doing with their choices.
First off let's deal with the pick of Trump. Here's a guy who for months has insulted every group out there from Mexicans, to his opposition . All the while not laying out one plan that you could sink your teeth into to see if he had a plan..One can only assume he doesn't or he has hit on the key to getting folks to vote for you. Has he figured out the average voter is stupid enough to vote for the man without a plan.
I won't go into every one of his bullet points but two name two that really bother me are, 1. He will build a wall and have Mexico pay for it. Then he would round up all Mexicans and send them back to Mexico citizens or not. Perhaps we should start a GO FUND ME PAGE to buy Donald loads of bricks to build his wall with and dump them in front of Trump Tower. 2. Insulting women after women who he deems either fat or ugly with bleeding body parts or whatever! The electorate might even deserve a Trump presidency if they can't figure things out better than this.
Hillary winning on the Democrat side is not much better. If you look at her positions before she started running to compare them to now you can easily see the effect of Sanders in the race. If you want to know what to expect from a Hillary president just look at her advisers if that don't scare you enough you probably deserve what you get.
With Trump saying he would give Japan and Korea nukes and Hillary never seeing a war she didn't like and picking neocons as her cabinet ministers it will be a damn miracle if they nation survives either.
The only hope left is that Hillary gets indicted for one of her many crimes and we can slip Bernie in the back door.

LOOKS LIKE MAY END UP WITH TWO CHICKENS AS CANDIDATES
Hillary won't debate Sanders , now trump chickened out after he said he would debate Sanders , now he won't.
In case you haven't noticed Trump seems unable to stick to a plan of his own invention. Many times during this campaign Trump will take a stand on a issue then change his stance in a day or two.
So it would appear that we will end up with Lying Hillary, or a I changed my mind today Trump. .Basically with either one we have no idea what they would actually do if elected.
In my 30 years of voting I have voted many times for the candidate that was the lessor of two evils.
Sure I will vote , but I will probably vote for a Greene ,or maybe nobody for president.
The sad state of the political scene in the US I'm sure has the rest of the world shaking their heads at us as we ignore the candidate that actually has an idea of what we really need to do. Most look at Sanders programs and say it can't be done, never mind parts of it have been in place in other developed nations and Bernie lays out a full program on how he would fund his big plans. Of course not many of you have taken the time to read his plans. If you did you could not vote for Hillary or Trump. Neither of which has a plan to get us back to normal.

WITH TRUMP WHAT YOU SEE MAY NOT BE WHAT YOU GET!
During this long primary election season you have heard Donald Trump say many things that he wanted to do if elected president. From his ridiculous round up all the Mexicans and send them back to Mexico, besides being next to impossible the cost would be huge (as Donald would say). His take on changing trade deals is the right thing I would need to see some plans on how he would accomplish this trick. There are many other areas of concern that is on record his planned actions.
We weren't privileged to sit in on Trumps meeting with party big wigs but some of the leaks from that meeting are troubling.
I wish I could believe his words could be trusted but so far I have not seen much evidence of that. And his lack of details on his plans makes one wonder what magic wand he has.
Too date he has been able to get by on free interviews and now that he is the projected nominee
he is changing his tune on campaign financing. Which he has said all along that he was self funding
now that he is the likely republican candidate he has pulled a reversal of his announced policies. His take on war and the deployment of nukes to some friendly nations.
His name calling is getting pretty old by now and it troubles me deeply that his popularity is soaring on the back of insult after insult. His campaign of one liners must be the way to campaign nowadays as he has been successful.
I been around this planet for a long time and each election I am filled with hope that the nominees
will actually attempt the changes proposed. Think back to 08 and the Obama tidal wave , and all the flowery promises he made but in the end failed to implement. To be fair with the congress he had to work with not many of his proposals made it in to prime time.
The only thing riding is the outcome of the congressional races.
With no change little will be done by either candidate.
Stop and think about the programs Sanders has put forward and his plan to pay for those changes if elected with a congressional makeup unchanged Bernie would be hamstrung by the republican congress. Which is probably the most dangerous part of a trump candidacy that he could make
the congress more republican.
Hang onto your socks , we will know in two month who we will be faced in the General election. If it is Hillary and Trump if both of them are the top of the tickets leaves us with a very ugly choices.
I personally cannot vote for either. Which just points out the sad shape our political parties have attained. There is no choice except to pull a major reform of our system and that ain't happening with a Trump of a Clinto.
